This year to celebrate the 21st edition of the conference, from 5th until 9th October 2023, we will convene the most active young people from 16 countries to work together for the European future of the region. The 21st International Youth Conference “European Values for the Future for SEE Region” has the aim to showcase good case studies, over 20 years of active youth work, creating meaningful dialogue with and for young people. It will also aim to promote the understanding how to create youth-inclusive decision-making and civic participation processes for regional transformation.

This is the official application form for the 21st edition of the International Youth Conference. Please read over the following information carefully before submitting your application. If you have any additional questions, you can contact us via email and get a reply as soon as possible.

APPLICATION PROCESS:

The conference will bring together 58 participants from countries of the SEE region (North Macedonia, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Kosovo, Montenegro, Italy, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia and Turkey) and guests from youth organizations partners from Germany, France and Poland in the role of mentors due to the successful endeavors in their reconciliation processes.

The International Youth Conference will offer the possibility for a scholarship to 58 participants, including fully covered accommodation fees, food and 80% of the travel expenses. The rest of the participants, who wish to participate, but were not selected for the scholarship, will be able to do so by covering their expenses themselves. All the important details will be shared via email.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE FOR SCHOLARSHIP?

You are eligible if you:
-Are between the age of 18 - 35 at the time of the conference
-Have an evidenced commitment to delivering positive change in the region
-Demonstrate interest for EU integration of the SEE region
-Are addressing key local and/or regional issues in your work
-Are citizens of the participating countries
